Burung Cendet adalah burung cerdas dari keluarga Turdidae. Burung cendet / pentet merupakan salah satu jenis burung kicau yang memiliki suara yang keras, variatif, serta postur dan penampilannya yang indah. Burung cendet /  burung pentet merupakan salah satu burung predator yang memiliki kemampuan merekam suara sangat baik bahkan suara binatang pun bisa ia tirukan.
Cendet jawara tentunya lahir dari keturunan yang jawara pula, atau setidaknya memiliki trah / gen dari cendet yang berkualitas bagus. Selain keturunan / gen, cendet jawara juga harus dirawat dengan baik dan benar. Khusus untuk cendet, antara jantan dan betina bisa menjadi jawara. Artinya baik cendet jantan maupun betina memiliki kemampuan berkicau yang baik, tetapi cendet jantan lebih ungul dalam volume suara yang lebih keras, variasi kicauan, serta penampilannya lebih menawan.

Karakter Dasar Burung Cendet

1.     Ganas apabila lapar. Burung ini akan berlaku agresif apabila lapar.
2.     Petarung yang memiliki teritorial. Apabila mendengar suara burung lain atau melihat burung sejenis, maka semangat tempurnya langsung berkobar.
3.     Birahi yang cenderung mudah naik. Burung ini sangat mudah naik birahinya, banyak penyebab yang dapat membuat naiknya birahi pada burung jenis ini. Setelan EF (Extra Fooding) yang over, penjemuran yang berlebih atau melihat burung Cendet lain, dapat dengan cepat menaikkan tingkat birahinya.
4.     Mudah jinak. Karena kemampuan beradaptasinya yang tinggi, maka burung ini mudah jinak kepada manusia.

Memilih Bakalan Cendet Yang Berkualitas

Ada beberapa hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam memilih bahan atau bakalan cendet yang berkualitas, diantaranya :

1.       Cendet / pentet harus berkelamin jantan. Tetapi ada juga cendet betina yang bisa jadi jawara. Jadi jangan terlalu terpaku dengan jenis kelamin. ciri-ciri burung cendet jantan dapat dilihat warna bulu yang tegas mengkilap dan kontras.
2.       Bentuk paruh, sebaiknya pilih bentuk paruh yang berpangkal lebar, besar dan pipih. Paruh bagian bawah cenderung lurus bagian atas tidak terlalu bengkok atau mbetet.. Posisi lubang hidung pilih sedekat mungkin dengan posisi mata kalau bisa lubangnya lebar kalau dilihat dari samping tembus serta leher yang panjang dan padat. Ini diyakini memiliki volume suara yang keras.
3.       Kepala besar dan papak, mata bulat besar dan melotot. Ini menandakan burung ini mempunyai mental tempur yang baik.
4.       Postur badan, pilihlah bahan yang berpostur panjang, badan dan ekor serta kaki yang serasi dan berdiri tegak.
5.       Sayap mengepit rapat dan kaki mencengkram kuat, ini menandakan bahan tersebut sehat.
6.       Lincah, gesit, dan bernafsu makan besar. Ini merupakan ciri-ciri bahan yang bermental baik.

DALMATIAN

Dalmatian is very old breed dog and has been seen since 1360. Originating from a town, Dalmatia in Croatia, this breed originates from the as coach dogs (dogs guard rail). Dalmatian dog in the United States best known for his job as a train fireman guard, so to this day remains a Dalmatian mascot for fire brigades America.

Character

Dalmatian is a dog that is agile, very active, intelligent, loves to play, very loving and very sensitive. I often see an advertisement for dogs sale in newspapers and several internet sites, and the sellers are calling themselves dog breeder or kennel. I always asked myself  "Are you really a BREEDER ?!”

What is actually BREEDER  means ???

Dog breeding is the practice of mating selected dogs with the intent to maintain or produce specific qualities and characteristics.

Breeder is someone who marries his dog with the aim to produce puppies as perfect as possible approached breed standard is concerned, both physical and character.

A breeder devoted himself to improving the quality of  his owned dogs. In addition he is willing to provide its resources for the welfare and health of the dog, because without it the dog will not produce puppies that are healthy and have good character.

Farmer

A farmer is a person who breed dogs with the purpose of profit. In accordance with economic principles that we learned, one way to make a profit is to reduce cost as low as possible. Welfare and health of the dog is not the main thing, often times only dogs caged for 24 hours 7 days a week without ever invited to play and be loved. Impurities that accumulate in the stable. Untreated when ill.

There are several diseases in dogs that must be considered by the owners of dogs as pets, disease in many dogs are dangerous and some are not.

1. Leptospirosis

This infectious disease can’t  be taken lightly. Leptospirosis is very dangerous that require your attention to this infectious disease. Leptospirosis is caused by bacteria "Leptospira sp." that attacks the lymph, liver, eyes, nervous system, and can last a long time in the kidney. Symptoms of the disease include fever, pain in muscles, slow or less vibrant and diarrhea. Leptospirosis can spread in both humans and in other animals such as rodents through urine touches the patient incurred.

2. Rabies

Rabies or hydrophobia disease is the most malignant disease in animals because it can kill the animals affected. Rabies is a common disease that attacks wild dogs. Rabies is very dangerous because it can be transmitted to humans through the bite and can cause death if handled too late. The cause of rabies is rabies virus attacks the nervous tissue. Three groups / levels regarding this disease are :

4. Hepatitis

Hepatitis in dogs is caused by a virus 'Canine Adeno Virus-1 (CAV-1'), which attacks the liver, kidneys and blood vessels walls through urine, feces and saliva. Hepatitis in dogs are different with hepatitis in humans, hepatitis in dogs can only be transmitted to dogs and doesn’t spread to humans. The symptoms include fever, loss of appetite, lethargy, vomiting, dysentery.

5. Canine Distemper

Canine Distemper Disease caused by 'parammyxco virus' that attacks the respiratory tract and spread to the local defense glands. 9. Skin Diseases

10. Intestinal worms
